Tammy is always willing to go above and beyond not only to help her peers but also for the patient.
Tammy is a very flexible and integral part of our CVOR team. She takes part in multiple roles: Scrub RN, CVOR Charge Nurse, Anesthesia nurse, Circulator in CVOR and TAVR room and has floated up to assist in the COVID ICU room. Tammy is an amazing role model!

Tammy is a very hard worker who can fulfill all the different roles in the Cardiac OR. She is a team player who is very pleasant and I’m always pleased when she is in my OR Room.

Tammy is always willing to go above and beyond not only to help her peers but also for the patient. We have been short on nurses on our team and she was assigned as my partner to scrub a big surgery. Tammy did three jobs on this particular day. She gathered all the items needed for the case, set up the anesthesia equipment for the anesthesia nurse and also circulated the room, and did as much charting as she could. She successfully managed all three of these roles and once the patient arrived she helped to make certain everything was done right for them.

Tammy has a great positive attitude. She is the only team member both scrubbing and circulating qualified. She works extremely hard and sets a very high standard for herself. She is a real pleasure to work with, an asset to the team.

Tammy exemplifies excellence in Nursing care. She goes above and beyond the basics on a daily basis. She is always striving to learn new skills and improve the care she gives to her patients. Tammy is always putting the needs of the patients ahead of herself. Tammy is one of the most kind, caring, and compassionate nurses in our facility and is a true DAISY Nurse.
