We brought my mom to the ED late one evening as she was bleeding from the mouth due to a tooth extraction and being on xarelto. My mom was very scared and Tanya being the charge nurse that night came into her room and made sure she was comfortable as the ED was very busy that night. Tanya hooked up suction to the wall for her so she could suction her mouth as it kept filling with blood. She made sure my Mom was seen as soon as it was possible, this meant a lot to our family as she calmed my mom down and seemed to subside my mom's anxiety.
