I started coming weekly to St. Anthony Wound Care Clinic and continue to this date. September was my 1st stay of many here. Since then I've been in the ER, Observation Unit, and Progressive Care Unit several times. Transferred from here to 2 different Hospitals. I had hyperbaric treatment and I've stayed on every floor from 3rd to 11th, some more than once.
Giving you this information gives you an idea of the number of nurses that have given me great care. Tara Henn was one of my nurses for 21 days. From the moment my wife and I met Tara, we knew there was something very special about this young lady. Her precious, sweet smile and soft voice of encouragement gave me much peace and comfort! During this time both my legs were amputated above the knee. Tara went beyond being a wonderful nurse; she became a blessing to our family! After work, she'd come to visit and assure me everything was ok. It was a difficult, dark time in our life but each day, Tara with an angelic aura surrounding her gave us a bright light of hope and peace! Qualities of compassion and empathy are rare in someone so young, but Tara possesses both of these.
