TARA KEEN, MSN, APRN

Tara Keen exhibits all of the VA core values in her personal and in her professional life. I have had the pleasure and honor of working alongside this nurse in many different areas throughout the VA. I have responded to ERT’s she's called where she noted minute changes in her patient’s cardiac rhythm. I've watched her whole tearful wives’ hands and comfort them as they struggle with losing their husband of 50+ years. I've been fortunate enough to serve these veterans alongside Tara and learn from her. She's always positive and compassionate. She is truly an asset to the VA hospital. Despite her moving on to home health care as an ARNP, I don't get to see her daily, but I still see her overcoming barriers, advocating and always putting the veteran first.
