I want to nominate this DAISY Award to all nurses but having said that, I would like to nominate this young woman who is just doing her job day in and out proving to me who she is as a nurse… and let me lay out the facts. This young woman is “a Nurse” who is very thorough in all your needs including taking great care, careful care in exactly how it should be done regarding you and your treatment. I was a nursing assistant for several years and worked with some of the best, most caring, and hardworking nurses and I can say with much confidence that everything for several days meets the excellence required for this award.

Tara goes above and beyond for all her patients and is a tireless nurse. I could hear her talking to other patients and she displayed excellence in maintaining professionalism and had thoroughness, kindness, helpfulness, patience, and a hardworking attitude with a calm demeanor every single day with every patient while she worked through the entire 12 hours of her working day. She had the utmost respect and a compassionate caring attitude throughout my stay at St. Vincent Hospital. I want to recognize her for this award and want to Thank St. Vincent Hospital. Tara exhibited empathy and had a patient-focused caring attitude consistently, has good critical thinking and explains it to you as well, has excellent interpersonal skills, and makes a special connection with the family and patient while including them in the planning of their care.
