From the very moment I walked in the door in the worst possible way, she never for a second made me feel there was a reason to give up. Nothing but words of positive thinking, and always had time and an ear to listen even when I was just venting about things to make me feel so not alone. Knowing she happened to have millions of other things she had to do, she made me feel like I came first. If I was feeling bad but tried to hide it, she went out of her way to make me feel alive again. Not just as a nurse, but as a fellow human being. Tara brings gentle light into the room wherever she goes as far as I can tell. And I was a very lucky patient to have her and from what I can hear down the hall, so is everyone else. She is extraordinary and likely the reason I am healing so quickly and well.
