I came in with a headache; I was 37 weeks pregnant and ended up having an episode - a potential seizure and was admitted for an induction. I have such bad anxiety and was very, very nervous. The induction began on the next day at 1400 and I was also on magnesium at the time, so I was not myself. The next morning I woke and Taryn was our nurse. She was so welcoming and reassuring. She comforted me and my husband every step of the way. She was able to provide me with the quality care people only dream of. She explained everything that was happening, and she made this birthing experience unforgettable. She helped me to push and dig deep and helped me to uncover strength I did not even know I had. She advocated for me and my family. I have aspirations to be a nurse, and on this day, Taryn set the standard for the kind of nurse I want to be.
