January 2021 Honoree
tasha manley 3, RN
My 90-year-old mom was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. The nurse noted a blood vessel under her eye that was visibly pronounced. I thought it was from all the non-productive coughing. She also seemed concerned when listening with her stethoscope to Mom's heart. She spoke with the doctor and an echo confirmed her concern when a faulty tricuspid valve was detected. Her care, concern, and attention were so special and we greatly appreciated being in such good hands. She was a blessing to both of us.
