Taylor was the RN for a patient who had just had heart surgery. She learned from the adult granddaughter that his wife had been admitted to the hospital with Pneumonia and was doing very poorly. Taylor spoke to the doctor and they were able to get the wife transferred to Baylor All Saints. The wife arrived around 5 pm and died earlier the next morning. Taylor not only made it possible for this patient to see his wife before she died, but also helped the wife die next to those she loved the most. Taylor's actions will never be forgotten by this family.
