I brought my daughter into urgent care with a bad stomach virus she'd had for days. Her nurse, Taylor, was so attentive to her, knowing how awful she was feeling. He was successful in finding a vein for her IV fluids after a couple of other lab people were unable to find it. So, after many pokes, he gave it a try, and he had success. They were able to administer fluids to help her rehydrate and some anti-nausea meds, which helped. Taylor was so kind. He brought her blankets and hot packs when he saw she was shaking because she was cold. He comforted her while she was sick, and it was so apparent he is great at his job. He addressed both of us with what he was doing and what he could offer her to make any difference in her comfort. The doctor was great, too! She had such compassion for my daughter and ran tests to make sure it wasn't something more serious than a virus. When we were leaving, he even brought her a wheelchair because she was weak from being sick. Nurses like Taylor do what they need to do but also go the extra mile to comfort the patient. It makes so much of a difference! We want to say Thank You again to Taylor because he deserves recognition for the compassion and attentiveness he showed us even when the urgent care was so busy. We are so thankful for our experience with him.
