A dear friend of mine, her father was admitted to your hospital and she invited me up for support. The check-in was smooth and simple. I arrived at the floor and there were two techs in the room who greeted me. The nurse came in, introduced herself and it was at that moment that I knew my friend’s father was in good hands. The nurse was kind, caring, courteous and most of all, she kept my friend informed of every step of the journey. There was no second-guessing, no wondering what was next. She identified everything she was doing or was about to do. Though very professional, the nurse was warm, and personable, and made us feel like we were all that mattered to her at that moment. I know she had other rooms, but she was never rushed or seem overwhelmed. Her kind spirit, her gentle manner, and her words of real hope gave us all comfort to know that my friend’s father was in good hands. I recommend her for being stellar in her work, knowing the pressure she was under to cover the other patients, she gave us all of her attention. She went above and beyond to come back and update us on the procedure several times and even offered us food. This is kindness personified. Temitope, you are an amazing person and we are thankful you are there for us.
