Teresa has worked at Hoag since 1994 and been a charge nurse on 7 West night shift since 2000. She frequently receives recognition from patients for her compassion and ability to solve problems. Her colleagues describe Teresa as a team player, doing whatever it takes to get the job done well. She is described as hard working and caring for patients, staff and community and a resource to employees physicians. She is not only an asset to the hospital with her work ethic, compassion and Hoag pride but she also helps in our community and her colleagues describe her as the first person to help a colleague in a time of need. She frequently assists in organizing food deliveries for staff that have suffered a loss or had surgery and is a regular blood donor, among many other volunteer activities.
