Let me say that my husband is deaf and often that can make some uncomfortable. He was treated in a caring and respectful manner by all, but Terry, by far, exceeded everyone! She had a way of communicating with my husband that others didn't attempt. She made him feel comfortable and he continued to inquire when she would be working again. She and he had a special relationship that made me feel comfortable enough to leave the hospital for necessary errands. She would check in while I was away to see that he was comfortable or just needed his spirits lifted. As we look towards the future, returning to St. Mary's for his next procedure may not be so scary knowing that he will again be cared for by Terry. Thank you and God bless!
