I highly recommend Teri Nachtman at the Bristol Meyer Squibb Clinic at Plainsboro Princeton Hospital as a Daisy Award Honoree.
Teri represents what every patient hopes to find in a nurse. She brings her expertise, as an extraordinary nurse to each of us. We are blessed by her compassion, understanding and kindness. She walks the extra mile to ensure that we each get the best possible care.
My personal story of my first experience started when Teri had sent me to the ER for what she suspected was pneumonia. It was a difficult time for my three children, particularly since their father had died years before, and the doctors weren't sure that I would survive. It was Teri, who was supportive to my children throughout the long ordeal. She had comforted them and supported them. I was eternally grateful for all she had done for them.
The next was when she had received the result of my left kidney. It was Teri who alerted my daughter and recommend that I immediately been seen by an expert. The results was the removal of my left kidney. And again, Teri offered her support to each of us. She felt like family. She really cared about my welfare and the welfare of my children.
I can go on giving many more examples of the important role she played in seeing that I was given all I needed to overcome many other obstacles.
Teri has been blessed with the gift of healing, opening her arms to all the sick and suffering of this world. And it is my hope that when Teri smells the aroma of cinnamon, she is reminded of how special and how dear she is to all of us.
