Exquisitely talented, unbelievably creative, and with an incredible green thumb, Terrah uses all of these skills to make for a better workplace, a happier staff, and a healthier outcome for all.
Clinical skills are just one pillar in the structure of an incredible nurse. Terrah has extraordinary clinical skills, the type that makes her patients lucky to have her, the type that comforts me in the possibility that someday I might need inpatient care. But her other pillars are equally strong, beautiful, and inspiring. And they are the reason why she is more than a good nurse, she is an incredible mentor, teacher, colleague, and care provider. She clearly knows what it is like to be new or unsure, and goes out of her way to befriend, support, and engage with newcomers.

In a world where too many clinical folks eat their young, Terrah nurtures them, serving as a resource and ally for both their clinical questions and personal adjustment. A leader and arbiter, she addresses and tamps down the strife that often tears other units apart. To those she teaches, she is a patient and encouraging guide, a forever resource as kind and generous on day one as she is in the years to come. Combining a layer of sass with a sense of humor, and with the important situational awareness to know when and how much to use, she makes both the best and toughest days better for those around her. Few people know what to say or how to say it - Terrah knows both, from hospital situations to home lives. Exquisitely talented, unbelievably creative, and with an incredible green thumb, she uses all of these skills to make for a better workplace, a happier staff, and a healthier outcome for all. Yesterday, someone meeting her for the first time walked away saying, "It is so clear that she loves her job". That's the kind of passion and personality she brings to all comers all days. Terrah is someone who could grow acres of DAISYs.
