Theresa’s service to the Women & Infants Center is invaluable. She serves as our bereavement coordinator and her work does not go unnoticed by her colleagues. Theresa provides a great deal of comfort and support to parents who experience the devastating loss of their child. She not only supports these parents but is a constant support to the nurses who care for these patients. She is a shoulder to cry on when the weight of this job gets too heavy. In November alone, we had over 20 losses, and I honestly, along with many, don’t know how Theresa remains so strong and compassionate through it all. She not only does an exceptional job in her role and what it entails, but she manages to always be so kind and empathetic. She is a true example of what a nurse should be and what we all strive to be. We are so thankful for her.
