I had to go to SFMC for a Rhogam Injection because I was having a miscarriage. It was a long weekend at home until I was able to call my doctor on Monday for them to send me in that day. After being through this process a couple times, it's still hard to walk through the hospital to go to Maternal Fetal. Theresa was the nurse who took me back to give me my injection. As Theresa was asking all the necessary questions for her job, I started crying and unable to answer her questions. When most people just kind of look at you, Theresa stopped everything she was doing to give me a hug and just let me cry it out until I could answer her questions. As a Mission Partner myself, you always hear about the Mission, but Theresa didn't know I was a Mission Partner. She only knew me as a patient. Theresa really showed that she cared and that she lives that Mission every day! Thank you for the small but mighty gesture that day!
