Theresa Lingg went above and beyond in bereavement care for a family whose child had a severe birth defect and poor prognosis. She took care of the child and family frequently and when the decision was made to withdraw support, she agreed to come in extra that day. Overnight, the child's condition worsened, and she came in early (at 3:00 am) to be with the family and take care of him.
He did end up passing before the originally planned time to withdraw support. Since Theresa came in so early, she was able to be with the family at that time. She also stayed to help with all bereavement care and mementos for the family. She truly exemplified compassionate care!
