Tiffany Meehan, RN

Whenever there is an emergency on the unit, the nurse I would like to have by my side would be Tiffany. On several occasions, she has demonstrated her capability with quick thinking and a calm demeanor in handling critical situations. She’s a nurse that recognizes her own strengths and confidence and she never hesitates to assist in turning or changing patients or managing challenging situations. She is a great advocate for her patients, especially those that are nonverbal, bedbound, and require complete care, always anticipating their needs and being mindful of the minute changes in their level of consciousness, or vital signs and becoming their voices. She has been observed offering reassurance and support to her patient’s families by speaking to them in her calm demeanor, explaining unfamiliar interventions, and contacting the medical team when families have questions or concerns. She is one of the vital team members in our unit. Someone that will never desert you when the tough gets going.
