My 7-year-old son was in the ICU after having a shunt revision, and we were there for almost two weeks. We thought Timothy was like the rest of our good nurses over the years; however, Timothy was EXCEPTIONAL. He was our night shift nurse for about four days and exceeded all of our expectations. When our son did not want to eat, Timothy went beyond to make a connection with our son and help him. My son would be very excited every time Timothy would start his shift. Our son is an autistic non-verbal child with many sensory reservations, but Timothy would do the impossible. Our whole family and relatives loved Timothy, and someone this special deserves to be recognized.
