Tina Hughes 2, RN, BSN

I was a patient on the 7th floor for a few days. One day, Tina came to introduce herself and asked if I needed anything. I was having a very bad day, physically with pain, emotionally, and everything else that comes along with an unexpected hospital stay. Tina sat with me and let me vent-good and bad. I felt her compassion and felt that she really wanted to do anything she could to make me feel better. Just her words of understanding and holding my hand made a huge difference in turning me around. I complained about the small coffee cups. Tina went and got an insulated travel mug of hers (it was new) and gave it to me. I was very touched (and happy) she is definitely an asset and will do great things on the floor. Thank you, Tina.
