Tom was patient, kind and compassionate while his patient was on a difficult journey, according to his nominator. "On many occasions, Tom was quick and responsive in assisting the patient in managing aggravating and uncomfortable symptoms," the nominator says. "He found a way to connect with the patient, and it was comforting to know the patient was in capable and competent hands."
When the patient's condition declined dramatically, Lund was there to make sure the needs of the patient and the family were taken care of. "He ensured that the patient would be safe and comfortable," says the nominator. "Tom was able to turn a chaotic and stressful event into a calm and peaceful ending."
