Tom works the 7p-7a shift on 7 North Surgery and Orthopedics and was nominated for the DAISY award by 4 different patients this quarter. One of the patients stated that Tom was very genuine and went out of his way to make him comfortable. Another stated that Tom "goes the extra mile to aid in patient comfort and recovery" and that he was "able to pull all resources necessary to increase my comfort level". She also stated that he was "very professional while still making me feel like he was a caring friend". The family member of another patient wrote that Tom was "very professional and had a great bedside manor" and that he made them feel as if they had known him for years. The fourth patient stated that Tom provided "Fantastic Care".
