Tommy Snell, BSN, RN

My mother has been at Hillcrest for the past 12 days. During that time, she has been under the care of multiple doctors and nurses. This young man, Tommy, is a nurse who stands out above all others. There is not a specific situation that demonstrates how he has made a difference in mom’s care there are multiple situations. Tommy consistently went above and beyond to provide a level of care not only for mom but myself as well, and that was like no other. He was extremely attentive; he was patient and compassionate; calming my mother’s fears about taking medications; he was kind and gentle; taking time to really listen to our comments and concerns while getting to know all of us on a personal level, and he treated us like we were his own family members. Tommy exemplifies what all nurses at Hillcrest should strive to be like. He is an amazing asset to this hospital.
