I was in the Emergency Department recently, thinking I was having a heart attack. Tonya entered with caring, comforting smile. Immediately I felt a wave of calm come over me. Tonya would take the time to explain every step. Any procedure would come with an explanation. She never left me in the dark. She left my door open so that I would not panic. Even though she was very busy she found time to swing by and check on me. I felt like I was wasting their time, but she assured me that here and now was the best place I could be. She is a dedicated nurse.
