Tori was nominated by the wife of her patient. On the second night of the patient's stay his wife was unable to be with him, he experienced some complications and had to be moved from Med/Surg to the ICU. The patient was having a difficult time breathing and was quite uncomfortable. Tori sat with him all night, showing great compassion for her patient. She would not leave his side until the ICU was able to take over his care. The patient's wife states that "she is now a member of the family. I for one am very grateful for Tori. If it wasn't for her, I don't think my husband would have made it".
