I came in for severe abdominal pain. I hate hospitals because they are so impersonal. My nurse came and talked with me. She made me feel welcome and relaxed. Instead of just getting the job done, she talked to me while she worked. Explained what she was doing and why. Asked me about my family and just made normal conversation. I could see her passion for the job and her caring for her patients. I have never felt as at ease as I did during this visit. Tracy is a shining example of her profession, and an asset to Borgess Hospital. I truly appreciate the compassion she showed me. Thank you for hiring nurses dedicated to their chosen profession.
