Tracy would always come by to see me, no matter where I was in the building, to check on my pain level and to just see how I was doing. One long evening when I first arrived, I was in so much pain and I wasn't feeling well both mentally and physically. After she gave me my pain medication, she had to do her rounds. When she finished, she came back and talked with me, giving me advice and reassurance that everything was going to be okay. She treated me like an actual person and remained with me until I started drifting off to sleep.
