Trisha is the shining star of our Pain Management Team. Interacting with patients who experience chronic pain is quite a challenge. The stigma that surrounds pain management makes most of our patients uncomfortable and anxious about the care that they will receive while in our office. Trisha does an amazing job of meeting the patient where they are. She connects with her patients by helping them feel safe and secure with the care she provides. Trisha empathizes with every patient in a way that builds strong and meaningful relationships.
Recently, Trisha was working with a patient who was dealing with uncontrolled chronic pain following years of failed back surgeries. Unfortunately, the patient was unsure of where they previously had several important tests performed. The results of these tests would determine the plan of care for the patient. To prevent the patient from having to repeat additional imaging and required testing Trisha took the time to work with the patient to track down all the information that we needed. Thanks to her focusing on the needs of the patient that day we were able to address the patient's pain management needs and the patient did not have to continue in pain over the weekend. This is just one of many examples of how she always goes above and beyond by providing our patients with the compassionate care that they deserve.
