Truc had an almost instantaneous relationship with all of us, but mostly our father. He spoke to him as an equal, a friend. He encouraged and motivated dad at all times. It was especially helpful when no one else could get dad to do what the doctor ordered. He continually stayed positive and hopeful. Truc had a way of making things "fun". Even when he was not assigned to dad's room, he found the time to come by and check in. We knew that he was thinking of dad more often than while he was in his room. He is genuine. He is kind. He is an excellent nurse that we were so fortunate to have during our stay at MD Anderson.
