Our daughter came to the hospital and had a C-section. Ms. Lulu has been our nurse for the past few days. I feel each day she has gone beyond the call of duty. When we first met her, her friendly smile was the first thing I noticed. Since then, she has been on top of all the issues with the mother and baby. I have heard her givingreportto the next shift nurse, a comprehensive report, always with a smile. She has been giving us information about what we needed to know from medication to catheter management and baby's needs.
She showed us how to bathe the baby. He has jaundice and now receiving light therapy. She explained with details what we need to do. She checks on the patient frequently. She seems to have a passion for the job she does and does her work with joy. She is professional, respectful, energetic, friendly, and mindful.
As the mother of the patient, I've had the opportunity to observe her giving service from emptying the urine bag, removing the catheter, giving medication on time, and today feeding the baby. As a consumer, I'd like her to be recognized for the quality and compassionate service she is giving.
