I’m a trucker from Florida. On day 1 of being admitted, my nurse went above her call of duty. After her long shift she drove to my truck to see about my dog and check on my truck. On her next shift, she updated me that my truck was safe and my belongings were still there. Again, after her next shift, she went back to my truck, checked it was locked, and brought my valuables back with my truck keys and a note. She is by far one of the best nurses I’ve encountered. She made me cry. Her kindness was unexpected. She deserves to be praised by the highest recognition. I’ll never forget my trip to the hospital and meeting Nurse Tsukasa. I hope I get some alert that she’s been truly recognized for her service. I feel like I need to tell the DON personally myself.

Nurse Tsukasa, you are a rare gem. I hope the world gets filled with nurses like you. I have great hope for the world if people like you fill it. We’ve never met before now, and yet you treated me like family. To not have any family near, I did not feel alone.
