I just wanted to let you know about one of your Tier 2 nurses who deserves to be recognized and commended. Tonight, Veronica Jackson heard a call for help and immediately stepped in. The patient, who was not assigned to Veronica, had her 2 year old son visiting when he had an apparent seizure, went into respiratory arrest(he was blue/cyanotic) and then cardiac arrest. Veronica took the 2 year old, performed rescue breathing and CPR. The child survived and was taken to ED then CHKD. Veronica saved his life!!!!
