In the written nominations for Vicky Marshall, one individual wrote that she is the clinic’s “jack-of-all-trades”, and “a team player” with “patient care as her first priority.” Even though Marshall was promoted to Director of Nursing for the Sublette County Rural Health Care District, she retained the job of Trauma Coordinator and organizes all continuing education for both clinical and EMS staff. Marshall has worked diligently for Sublette county residents and patients for years, dedicating thousands of hours of quality care.

Another nominator wrote of Marshall’s volunteer service during the annual Casting for Recovery event for women with breast cancer. Marshall uses her own time and travels out-of-county to camp and counsel women recovering from breast cancer treatment. Marshall designed a unique fly-fishing themed logo and sells items bearing the image to cover the cost for one participant to attend Casting for Recovery annually. Per the nominator, “Marshall is a champion for women’s health and recovery.”

Other peer and community nominators mentioned Marshall’s professional and compassionate demeanor and her multiple certifications (Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support) which allow her to conduct in-house training, saving the District and taxpayers the expense of outside instructors.
