When I got really sick Vicky took care of me, stayed by my side and assured me I'd be okay. She stays by side to watch movies with me, she charts by my bed to keep me company overnight, she does my hair and is a true friend. Since I am paralyzed and can't use my hands, this means a lot to me. She helped me learn new ways to do things. She is the best.

Victoria joined Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital 10 months ago and very quickly she exemplified the qualities of a strong ICU nurse, including skill, knowledge and genuine compassion. As a new palliative care champion in the PICU, she has taken the initiative to act as a resource for other nurses on the unit, allowing our team to collaborate in order to provide exceptional safe patient care to this group of patients. Victoria is truly an asset to our organization.
