Virginia Shea is a great, educated, and caring person. On our unit, we have a few patients with special diets and the cafeteria did not send up the specific food they needed. Virginia went out of her way to get them a nice entrée. She even has bought a soda for a patient who had low blood pressure and was too paranoid to eat the cafeteria food, which jump started the beginning of this patient's improvement. Virginia never hesitates to keep the unit safe by medicating the patients properly. She is always available for immediate action to care for patients' needs and communicates with the psychiatric techs on how to provide better patient care.
