My husband has been in El Camino Health for 3 weeks. The entire staff on 3B Telemetry has been very helpful. One nurse, in particular, Wei Na, has gone way beyond any of our expectations in caring for him and me. When a new prescription produced a negative personality change in my husband, she remained diligent in her care soothing his fear and making sure he could contact me if I wasn’t on site. She recognized my distress and gave me the time, hugs, and understanding I really much needed. It is obvious that she cares deeply about her patient’s comfort and progress. She always takes the time to answer our questions in a pleasant manner making sure we understand new terms and medical terminology. As a charge nurse, Wei Na maintained contact with us asking about any way we might need help.  She is an outstanding example of the Nursing profession!
