Nurse Wen-Ching Wang has been working in NICU of TAH since 1993. Nurse Wang is not only recognized by her colleagues but also by the parents of the sick babies for taking care of them with sincerity. The parents often praise Nurse Wang for her gentle and professional care to the babies which relieves their anxiety and comfort them a lot.
There was once a baby hospitalized because of fever, the mother of the baby wrote a letter to show her appreciation when the baby was discharged. She wrote: "We are so glad that we have Nurse Wang taking care of our baby. We were really bewildered and worried but Nurse Wang not only comforted us but also took the initiative to let us know the baby's condition in time so we felt reassured during the baby's hospitalization. Maybe this is what the nurses do every day, but we really must praise Nurse Wang and let the nurses know our appreciation! Thank you so much for the efforts you put on the sick babies and the patience while facing the parents' anxiety!"
A nurse who has been working in the hospital for more than 25 years but still remains kind-hearted and enthusiastic is worthy of recognition.
