While there were so many great days when we could see how much stronger our babies were growing, being in the NICU for such an extended amount of time was definitely draining, stressful and frustrating at times. Whitney always went out of her way to explain everything that was going on with their progress. She was sure to answer any of our questions/concerns and if she didn't have the answers, she would very quickly contact the correct person for us. She was so proactive about any issues that popped up.
Whitney genuinely cared about our twins and about how we were feeling during this whole process. She had just the right balance of helping us out with their care if anything felt uncomfortable but then stepping back and letting us do our part when we were ready. Whitney consistently performs her job as a nurse to the highest standard and is always professional. After spending about 100 days in the NICU, we are so very thankful that there were nurses like Whitney to get us through the tough times.
