Whitney is the voice of the patients and families who cannot speak and who are too scared to speak.
Whitney is a caring person. She is compassionate and always puts her patients first. She knows how to deliver excellent care. I came to visit my mother who was on the third floor and Whitney spent the time to explain what was going on with her. A few hours after leaving the hospital, I received a call from Whitney stating that mom was not doing well…she has suffered a heart attack. It was close to the end of her shift and Whitney waited for me to return to the hospital (I was on my way to North Carolina and was about 2 hours away from the hospital). I arrived at the hospital at approximately 8:00 pm and Whitney was there to explain to me what took place. The compassion she showed me during this time was above and beyond.
