My daughter has had an extensive medical history with St. John's/Mercy inpatient, outpatient, Emergency Room, Surgery, and Clinical. Will is one of the most honest, kind, open, caring, gentle, knowledgeable and comforting nurses my daughter has had. He calmed her fears, explained things, helped her, and answered her questions and mine. He made sure she wasn't afraid and explained things that were going to happen and was very gentle with her.
She has been hospitalized so much, including just getting out of 13 days from KU, so she was afraid of being stuck here. Will made her first few days so comfortable that she wasn't panicked about having to be in the hospital again. He got her talking about her interests which helped so much. She wasn't just a number to him.
