Zach gave me such great care while I was in the hospital on Mother's Day weekend. He explained every procedure with great patience and re-explained as necessary since I was not terribly aware of my surroundings or what was happening to me. With his expert help, I made a good recovery and was discharged the next day. Any patient would be lucky to have him supervising and administering care.

Zach Lorenz was working on 2 South IMCU, accepted a patient from a code on 2 North and established a great rapport with the patient and spouse, he worked again on 2 South the next day and had the same patient, the patient ended up going to emergent surgery and didn't make it through surgery. Zach went and found the wife and hugged her. He is so compassionate and caring. He consistently goes the extra mile.
