David James was very attentive, friendly, and observant. Sequoia Hospital should be proud to have such an excellent nurse.

My life came around during my stay here at Sequoia. I felt lost in the system, unseen, unwell, angry at the world and unable to advocate for myself. David came on for his shift, researched my case, was proactive regarding my care, made me feel seen, cared about, human. He put my comfort and health first, made me smile again, and made me feel just so much better. He did not forget about me. He went over and above what he needed to do; I was and am just so thankful that he was here. He educated me on my condition and helped advise what I could do to maintain a healthy lifestyle and not be a returning patient! And finally, after just one shift, he felt like a friend.
