I was admitted into labor and delivery recently for an induction. Upon the nurses' shift changeI met Precious Miliner, the night nurse who would be caring for me through my first night. Precious made sure my room was ready for whenI would deliver my baby. She checked to see that the baby station had a diaper,hat, and other items. She even made sure my other half had a pillow, blanket and sheets for his comfort to catch some rest during the night. She kept up on my water and ice, as that was my beverage of choice, andI didn't even have to ask her for more. Later in the night,I began to feel very hot in my room and she went out of her way again to track down a fan for my room. She checked on me often to ask me ifI needed anything, checking my pain level, fluffing my pillows, helping me whereI needed the extra help to get comfy whenI was in bed. Precious goes above and beyond. She was an amazing supporter whenI had to receive a balloon during my induction process. She explained everything and was very patient and attentive to my needs no matter what they were.
