Endurance is the most amazing nurse I had the pleasure of caring for me while I was emergently admitted for severe bleeding and contractions at 22 weeks pregnant. This is my third child that I will have via C-Section.
When I was admitted, I was so scared, nervous and anxious about my baby's well being and health, as well as my own health. I am TERRIFIED of needles, and I faint at the site of blood! Endurance did everything she could to make me feel comfortable. She was so patient with me, as I had to call her for help dozens of times while I was in her care. She never made me feel like I was rushing her or being a bother. She treated me like her own daughter, in that she cared for me with immense love and support.
She even gave me some "elderly life support tips" on how to slow down and take a step back, to enjoy being a Mom, being pregnant, and being a busy working Mom of three. I really needed someone with her wisdom and thoughtfulness to help me realize how precious life is, how precious motherhood is, and what a blessing pregnancy is! She even packed me a "Go Home Get Well" bag with hygiene products, tips, and a "onesie" for my baby girl.
When I came into the hospital last night, there was a chance that I might lose my baby due to my contractions and bleeding, but, by the time I left, because of this beautiful woman who went above and beyond, I am 100% certain that it is the passion, love and unconditional care of my nurse, as well as the other amazing staff team, that truly helped me get through this medical emergency. I will certainly come back to have my baby at this hospital and pray that I get to have this nurse again while I am here for my C-Section.
I want to congratulate all of your nurses, surgical techs, staff, and even the nice cleaning lady you have on staff here. I've been to almost every hospital in Las Vegas, and this hospital, by far, is the utmost in service, quality and care to their patients. In today's world, a little love and compassion with humanity goes a long way in my eyes. I, too, work with the public, and I truly feel such an award as the DAISY award should go to someone who displays an exemplary positive attitude and outstanding character as Endurance had towards me. You can truly tell she loves her job, and I will forever call her my angel. She is a godsend!
