I really feel we could trust Marci. Her compassion for my father, his care, and goals to move him forward were said in a gentle, honest, and professional way. She went beyond what most people do in working with patients and their families. She takes time to explain what is happening, what needs to be done, and the reason, always making sure my mother knew his vitals, what meds he was given, and if something needed to be changed in the protocol. She was always respectful of our concerns, never dismissed our emotional requests, and always gave us space to be with our father. The transition shifts were handled smoothly and very considerately. Regarding Marci, I feel we were given an extraordinary person. Thank you for taking such great care of my father, and for having Marci attend to him as his nurse. We will always remember her kindness, professionalism, compassion, and knowledge. I am so grateful that a tragic thing like a stroke has a promise of a cure because of his excellent care.
