Paula Marriot is as an energetic, enthusiastic, dedicated and highly motivated junior nurse, who has positively contributed to patient care outcomes and the overall nursing staff morale at the Vincent Dole Opioid Treatment Outpatient Program. This exceptional patient care advocate and clinician always extends herself in the interest of helping others as demonstrated in her daily disposition of "I am here, and I care about you". As the member of the Shared Governance and Quality Champion Committees she advocates for positive changes by offering valuable suggestions and ideas. Paula consistently goes above and beyond the standard level of requirements of a staff nurse and instead establishes higher goes and standards for care of our clients for others to strive for. As someone who displays a considerable amount of passion, flexibility and professionalism, it is with great pride that we recognize Paula as a 2017 Mount Sinai Beth Israel Daisy Award Honoree.
