I have been working here in MH Northeast hospital for over three years. I met AJ on my first day of orientation on the floor in the Surgical Care unit. He was so professional with his patients as well as with other staff. The way he connects with patients going for surgery and coming from PACU is amazing. A patient can be nervous and anxious before and after surgery, but AJ sees to it that they feel calm, relieved, and well taken care of. He always explains the procedures involved during and after surgery and when the patient goes to PACU. He attends to every patient's questions and concerns making them feel relaxed and assuring that they're in good hands. He is very professional in dealing with patients, families, and co-workers. Another thing that made AJ stand out is that he is always there to give you a helping hand, especially during busy times in our unit. He always finds something that he can help you in the best way that he can, which really makes him a valuable asset to the hospital. I am very thankful that we have an amazing PACU nurse like AJ in our hospital.
