Anya is the definition of excellence in compassionate nursing care. She comes to work everyday with a smile on her face and an upbeat attitude. The nursing care that she delivers is unconditional. There isn't a thing she will not do, within the scope of her practice, to ensure a positive hospital experience for her patients and families. She has even been brought to tears while relaying her concerns about a patient’s situation; her level of compassion is endearing. One of her peers referred to Anya as brave and fearless. She was referring to Anya's ability to walk into a situation unknowing, assess the situation and act to ensure a positive outcome. She becomes emotionally and intellectually involved with her patients. Anya is an extraordinary nurse who makes an enormous difference in the lives of patients, families, and co-workers on 5 North.
