Leah Jackson is the true definition of an extraordinary nurse. She is one of the hardest workers I have ever seen. She always brightens up any room she walks into and she is one of the main reasons patients on SPCU compliment our unit so much. No matter what she is busy doing, if someone needs her help she is there. If someone asks her a question, she works hard to make sure she gives the correct answer. She never brushes it off or has an excuse, she just does it.

I am amazed at her ability to be so positive, happy and calm even on the craziest of days. She juggles so much as a charge nurse on SPCU, which is not an easy job, and gives her all every single day. Never worrying about herself, she only gets concerned about her patients’ and nurses’ well being. She has the biggest heart and is exactly what every nurse should strive to be.

Leah absolutely exemplifies the core values of RSFH, and we at St. Francis are honored to have her as our co-worker.
